With the Philadelphia Phillies trailing by one in the bottom of the eight inning on Sunday, Bryce Harper stepped to the plate.
All postseason he has been the guy, hitting with an absurd average while driving the ball out of the park.
Behind in the count 2-2, Harper drove a fastball out to left field.

This gave the Phillies a 3-2 lead in the clinching game of the series, and ignited Phillies fans.
Then, they were able to close out the game and the fans took to the streets in Philadelphia fashion.
No Bigger Time
As the ball was leaving the park, the roar from the stadium was clear in the broadcast.
The fans nearly couldn’t contain themselves with the eruption of a potential trip to the World Series.
Fans even lost their minds in bars around the stadium, getting on top of the tables and celebrating the home run.
On Twitter, fans praised Harper and how he has etched his place into Phillies history.

It shows the importance he has had on the organization, as media outlets are even calling him one of the best Phillies to ever play.

Post-Game Celebrations
After the win, Phillies fans took to the street to celebrate.
Even the greased light poles, which have become a staple of Philadelphia celebrations, couldn’t stop fans from climbing them.

They mobbed the streets, chanting “we want Houston” and even cheering at buses trying to make it through the crowds.
Harper’s home run ignited this, and gave one of the most dedicated fanbases in the country something to cheer for.
Now, as the team heads to the World Series, they have a massive advantage behind them.
The Houston Astros will be entering a hostile territory that is ready for their team to win another World Series.
