The Los Angeles Lakers made some serious waves when they selected Bronny James in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
James was considered a borderline prospect coming off his rough year at USC, though a lot of that could be attributed to his cardiac arrest that sidelined him for months.
He struggled in his return to the floor but showed enough flashes for the Lakers to take a swing on him.
Most people believe that James was only selected so the team could appease his father, LeBron James, though the organization has been adamant about its belief in the younger James as a prospect.
After a recent 30-point performance for the South Bay Lakers, Bronny James’ offense came back to earth as he struggled against the Osceola Magic.
After the game, fans took to social media to react to his performance.

It sounds like the fans understand that Bronny James is going to have his ups and downs, even in the G League, where the competition isn’t as good as it is in the NBA.
Bronny James may not be at the point where he can score on a consistent basis, but his true value comes as a playmaker and defender.
With how young and raw he is as a player, it would be unfair to expect more at this point in his pro career.
As he continues to develop in the G League, the Lakers will be hoping to make the postseason with the current core of their roster.
