All eyes have been on Ben Simmons of the Brooklyn Nets at the start of this NBA season.
People want to see if he can have a bounce-back season or if his struggles on the court will continue.
So far, things have remained rough for Simmons.
According to Sports Illustrated, via Legion Hoops, Simmons has accumulated 12 field goal attempts so far but has earned 14 fouls.
This is not the start that fans wanted to see and they made their opinions known online.

Some people pointed out how Simmons has shot 50% from the field, which is worthy of respect.
And while that is true, the lack of attempts is troubling to most Nets fans.
Shooting 50% from the field put some respect on it

There are others who have faith in Simmons and think he will figure things out.
They claim that “2017 Ben Simmons is in there somewhere.”

However, many others aren’t shocked by these lackluster numbers from Simmons because it’s been a long time since he has performed well.
“Same old Simmons,” one fan online wrote.
Same old Simmons

There are many NBA fans who find it hard to support Simmons because he hasn’t delivered for any team in years.
The last time Simmons’ average was in double digits was back in 2020-21 and people are losing all hope of him getting back to those numbers.
Hard to support this guy.

Simmons is supposedly healthy right now and people close to the Nets said he was going to have a standout season.
The season is still very young, of course, so he could impress everyone.
But so far, things are continuing to look rough for the former Rookie of the Year.
