The San Francisco 49ers continued their hot streak on Thursday Night Football by defeating their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, 21-13 on the road and clinching first place in the division.
Brock Purdy continued to look poised and wise beyond his years, as the last player taken in the 2022 NFL Draft went 17 of 26 for 217 passing yards, two touchdown passes and zero interceptions, while Christian McCaffrey ran for 108 yards and tight end George Kittle had two touchdowns.
In years past, Lumen Field in Seattle was a place the Niners usually left with a loss, but this time, it looks like they’re peaking at the right time with the aid of the best defense in football.
Members of 49ers Faithful continue to be amazed at what Purdy has given their team.

Above All, San Francisco Continues To Win With Defense
Head coach Kyle Shanahan has set his team up to be centered around an aggressive, hard-hitting defense and a strong running game.
It’s starting to seem that any competent, above-average quarterback can lead the 49ers to wins in bunches because of the structure they have.
On Thursday, they held Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith to just one touchdown pass and a 90.9 passer rating while preventing wide receivers Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf from going off.
In addition, Seattle was able to convert on third down just four times in 13 opportunities.
San Francisco may not end up winning the Super Bowl this season, but maybe, just maybe, it has found its first real franchise QB since the days of Steve Young.
