The Cleveland Browns headed into Week 14’s matchup against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium with high hopes of beating Mike Tomlin’s squad for a second time during this forgettable 2024 NFL season.
Unfortunately, even though the Browns had their opportunities to get the best of the Steelers for a second time this year, Cleveland fell short, with Pittsburgh getting the 13-point win on their home field.
Along with a muffed punt by wide receiver Kadarius Toney in the fourth quarter, which essentially sealed the deal for the Steelers, the Browns had two missed field goals from kicker Dustin Hopkins, which proved costly to the team’s chances of pulling off another upset over their division rivals.
Hopkins is having the worst year of his NFL career and Browns fans have seen enough of his missed field goals, with some asking the team not to bring him back to Cleveland.

With the Browns having an awful season, there’s bound to be plenty of changes once the NFL offseason officially gets underway in Cleveland, as it has become abundantly clear that this team needs some massive upgrades on offense.
It’ll be interesting to see what Cleveland does moving forward and whether the team is willing to hold onto Hopkins to give him another shot to turn things around or if the coaching staff is finally ready to move on from their starting kicker.
