The Houston Astros are World Series champions for the second time in franchise history.
Today, the Astros are having their World Series parade in downtown Houston.
Thanks to the Astros’ World Series win, famous sports bettor and fan “Mattress Mack” cashed in on a record $75 million payout.
The Astros and the City of Houston have rallied around him and made him their symbol of success this fall, with everybody rooting for him to cash in on the $75 million payout.
Now that the Astros have finished things off, Mattress Mack has earned a nice sum of money.
Mattress Mack is attending the World Series parade today, and a video tweeted by the team shows him exchanging a hug with Jose Altuve.

Both Altuve and Mattress Mack are legends in the City of Houston.
In that video, the two Houston legends shared a nice moment during the World Series parade.
Mattress Mack even made the trip to Philadelphia in hopes of seeing the Astros potentially clinch their World Series title at Citizens Bank Park.
Regardless, he has been very vocal in his support of the Astros and has become a symbol for them and Astros fans to rally around.
He has ultimately become the quintessential Astros fan, and on Saturday night, he was gifted with the largest payout in sports betting history thanks to his team finally closing out the Philadelphia Phillies.
Now, he and Altuve can share the joy and soak up the moment as the City of Houston celebrates another title.
