The Cincinnati Bengals are still in the playoff race as they’ve strung together several wins to keep their hopes alive.
The Bengals are suddenly in a position to creep into the postseason potentially, assuming they win out the rest of the way, as well as some other matchups breaking their way.
In Week 16, Cincinnati takes on the Cleveland Browns, who have nothing left to play for other than draft positioning in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Joe Burrow is very familiar with the Browns, given their divisional rivalry and the games they’ve played over the years, and the star quarterback has been on a tear during the Bengals’ run.
Burrow has a knack for threading the football in tight windows to hit his receivers, but he might have outdone himself against Cleveland.
On a 1st-and-goal situation, Burrow found Tee Higgins in the end zone as he was falling, prompting some excited reactions from people on social media.

If the Bengals somehow make the playoffs, Joe Burrow's got an interesting MVP case … That throw was ridiculous. Not sure how he kept his knee off the ground.

Joe Burrow has been absolutely unreal this season

In the video clip, Burrow drops back to pass and climbs the pocket before losing his balance.
However, just as his knee is about to hit the ground, he flings the football in a desperate attempt to avoid the sack but finds Higgins, who flashes to the football.
That kind of composure and creativity makes Burrow such a special passer, though he’s also proven he can tough it out in the pocket when needed.
Cincinnati is positioned to pick up another win and could very well make the playoffs at this rate.
