By now, it’s very clear that fans of the New York Yankees were quite unhappy with their team thanks to their poor performance in the ALCS against the Houston Astros.
Houston pulled off a four-game sweep and advanced to their fourth World Series in the last six years.
Yankees fans even went as far as to boo Aaron Judge, who put together a historic season, hitting 62 home runs and breaking the all-time single-season record that had been set by Roger Maris six decades ago.
While many around the baseball world were surprised by this, so too were the Astros.
Closer Ryan Pressly said that Judge being booed was a topic in the bullpen during Games 3 and 4.
“I don’t understand why you would boo a guy that has given you nothing but joy, especially this year,” said Pressly. “I was pretty surprised to hear him get booed out there.”

Astros Surprised By Judge Boos
Judge certainly heard it from the Yankee Stadium faithful, and clearly it surprised the Astros just as much as it surprised everybody else.
Judge is the clear-cut favorite to win the American League MVP Award thanks to his historic season.
However, his postseason was quite uninspiring.
The 30-year-old and soon-to-be free agent hit just .139 in 36 at-bats with two homer and three RBI.
That was enough for him to receive a chorus of boos from fans at Yankee Stadium.
And sadly, it could very well be the last time Judge suits up in Yankee Pinstripes.
Teams will be all over Judge this offseason as he enters free agency.
