The Cleveland Cavaliers may have the steal of the 2021 NBA Draft in Evan Mobley.
He was taken at No. 3 overall, but he is playing like a top pick so far.
The Cavaliers are off to a surprising 6-4 start and Mobley is in there every game as a key player.
In fact, he is already putting up some historic numbers through 10 games.

◻️ 79 REB
◻️ 23 AST
◻️ 10 STL

The 14 blocks he has already stand out because of how deceptively long he plays on the floor.
A recent game saw Damian Lillard get a switch onto Mobley.
The veteran thought it was a mismatch, but Mobley proceeded to swat his shot away in a key moment.
The young man can play and is only going to get better.
A Home Run Pick
Mobley has started all 10 games this season and is averaging 34.2 minutes per game.
The Cavaliers are not easing him into action because there is no need to do that.
He is clearly ready and is an important piece on this roster filled with seven-footers.
Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff is routinely rolling out three bigs at a time and the early results have been fantastic.
Having Mobley play so well to start the year helps the plan work to perfection.

The rookie is fourth on the team in scoring with 13.8 points per game and is second in rebounds with 7.9 per night.
The Cavaliers have past top picks in Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, and Isaac Okoro on this roster.
The addition of Mobley seems to be the final missing piece to finally get this team back into playoff contention.
And he has still only played 10 games at the NBA level.
He may be playing like an All-Star after a few more months pass.
