The Eastern Conference is getting tougher and tougher but Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra still has the utmost faith in his team.
Speaking to SiriusXM NBA Radio, Spoelstra said he’s ready to “get after it” and fully expects his team to be in the mix for a championship.
Although he said the Boston Celtics should be confident after winning a title, he reminded everyone that the beginning of a season is a new chapter and everyone has to start all over again.
"I just want to get after it."

The Heat are looking to turn the page after a disappointing 2023-24.
Just a year before, they went all the way to the NBA Finals after an amazing and surprising playoff run.
But they ended 2023-24 as the eighth seed in the East and weren’t able to get far in the postseason.
They are hoping things will be very different in the new year.
Spoelstra has plenty of reasons to believe in his squad because there is still some supreme talent in the lineup.
However, there are many rumors about the team changing soon and there are concerns that Jimmy Butler could leave Miami.
Even with all of that floating over his head, Spoelstra thinks his team has what it takes.
They have overperformed and surprised people many times before, but can the Heat do it again in the new season?
Spoelstra might believe in them but fans are cautious, especially with such a crowded and competitive conference.
