If anybody is wondering whether or not there’s a hotter or better team on the planet right now than the New York Yankees, the answer is more than likely going to be no.
The Bronx Bombers are red-hot and are on a historic pace as they continue their 2022 season.
They’ve essentially run through every team they’ve played so far, posting an MLB-best 29-12 record through their first 41 games of the season.
At the center of their run of dominance has been the starting rotation, which is leading the way as they continue to beat teams without breaking a sweat.
A Yankees fan page tweeted the ERAs of the Yanks’ five starters, showing just how dominant they have been.

Gerrit Cole: 2.89
Jameson Taillon: 2.95
Luis Severino: 3.02

Yanks’ Staff Stiffens Up
The Yankees got the “Bronx Bombers” nickname as a result of their offense being historically one of the most powerful offenses in all of baseball.
But the starting pitching has become the absolute strength of this team.
And Gerrit Cole doesn’t even have the best ERA on the staff.
That belongs to Nestor Cortes.
In fact, Jordan Montgomery has the worst ERA of the five starters, and his ERA right now is actually quite good.
When a 3.35 ERA is the highest on a starting staff, you know the rotation is really good and has what it takes to be dominant.
This Yankees team is much deeper than everybody thought.
Anybody who picked the Yankees to finish in fourth place in the AL East looks foolish now for underestimating this ballclub.
Everything is clicking for these Yankees and their starting rotation is leading the way as they continue to dominate each and every one of their opponents.
