The Cincinnati Reds have been one of the most surprising teams in MLB this season.
One reason for their success is that they called up many of their top prospects.
The Reds see the NL Central is having a down year and they have a serious chance to win the division.
The biggest difference maker for the Reds is Elly De La Cruz.
He is their top prospect and one of the most electrifying players in MLB.
De La Cruz has immediately impacted the Reds and their ability to win games.
As noted by Codify, in his 14 career games, the Reds have won 12.

De La Cruz is a true five-tool player who has played third base and shortstop for the Reds.
He has already claimed himself as the “fastest man in the world.”
And he has backed up that claim on the field.
According to StatCast, De La Cruz has the fastest sprint speed in MLB at 30.9 ft/sec.
Not to mention he is only 21 years old.
At the plate, De La Cruz has been as advertised.
He is hitting .321 with two home runs, six RBI, and six stolen bases.
His exit velocities are elite and he has shown no struggles adjusting to MLB pitching.
Some of the other Reds prospects making a major impact are Andrew Abbott and Matt McClain.
Both are rookies like De La Cruz and have played a major role in their success.
The Reds are in first place in the Central with a 40-35 record.
They have won 11 straight games and have shown no signs of slowing down.
