On Thursday night, the NFL announced four new inductees as the 2025 Hall of Fame class, which included Antonio Gates, Jared Allen, Eric Allen, and Sterling Sharpe.
Even though all four inductees were deserving, fans naturally shifted their focus to those who weren’t fortunate enough to make it in.
This included two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Eli Manning, who opened up about his snub on Friday morning.
During a Friday appearance on Good Morning Football, Manning told Jamie Erdahl, “I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be my night, and I understand that. I’m totally at peace. It’s not gonna change my outlook on my career and how I feel about it.”

Manning’s Hall of Fame candidacy has been a hotly debated topic for years.
Without his two Super Bowl wins, he likely lacks the accolades to get elected.
That being said, there’s no denying how great those two playoff runs were, particularly when he led his Giants over the undefeated New England Patriots in the 2007-08 season.
Eli is 11th all-time in passing yards and passing touchdowns.
He also has a career .500 record, a 60.3 percent completion percentage, and 244 interceptions, which is 12th in NFL history.
It’s not shocking that Manning hasn’t been admitted yet.
Given his controversial candidacy, his .500 record, and two Super Bowl MVPs, it might take him a few years to get there.
Although it may not have happened in 2025, it seems like it will be just a matter of time before Manning is in the Hall.
