For the first time in several seasons, the Los Angeles Clippers feel like a true threat in the Western Conference and fans are hopeful for how the postseason will proceed.
But what will the upcoming offseason look like for the team and its biggest stars?
According to John Hollinger, via NBACentral, Paul George could possibly leave the team this summer.
Hollinger wrote:
“Keep an eye on Paul George, by the way. Presumably, if there was a max extension sitting around for him, he would have signed it by now; I think it’s fair to say a couple of cap-room teams in the East are, um, ‘monitoring’ this.”
A few teams in the east are monitoring Paul George, per @johnhollinger

The Clippers are indeed much better than they have been in years but there is still a chance they will adjust their roster in the summer.
As Hollinger mentioned, if the team had a maximum contract extension ready for George, it would have already been presented and likely signed too.
But since that hasn’t happened, other teams are sensing a chance to swoop in and woo George away in the next few months.
This would be a huge signing for a number of franchises because George is averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
As for the Clippers, it would be a massive shake-up because George has been a massive part of the team’s roster and culture since joining in 2019.
However, a lot has changed for the Clippers since then and they have added even more talent, such as Russell Westbrook and, most recently, James Harden.
Everyone knew that a time would come when one of the team’s big players would say goodbye to the Clippers.
Will George be the first one if a tantalizing offer comes his way?
