The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football, bringing their 2023 record to 2-0.
This game provided a lot of highlight-reel plays from some of the biggest stars from both teams.
While teammates DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert were heavily featured throughout the game, A.J. Brown’s impact was menial.
He expressed his frustration to Jalen Hurts on the sideline, a moment captured by the broadcast team via Tanner Phifer.

Brown finished the game with four catches and 29 receiving yards, which is an abnormal stat line for him.
In Week 1, Brown had seven catches for 79 yards and was generally more involved in the passing game.
His frustration seemed to work on Hurts, as he was targeted more after this incident.
Smith and Brown are widely viewed as one of the best wide receiver tandems in the entire league.
The broadcast mentioned this during the game, and their consistent play has made them a nightmare duo for opposing defenses.
With two alpha receivers, there are bound to be games where one player gets a larger target share than the other.
Smith only had four catches in this game against the Vikings, but he turned them into 131 yards and a touchdown.
Both receivers are elite in their own right, Smith just so happens to be the deep threat while Brown is used more in short-yardage situations.
The potential fallout from Brown is unknown, but it is a situation to monitor throughout the week as the Eagles prep for their next game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
