The Philadelphia Eagles are riding a great run, as the team is currently 6-0 for the season.
However, fans can point to many areas to explain why the Eagles are so good in 2022.
But there is one rookie player who’s making a big impact with the team, helping them remain undefeated.
So who is this rookie player, and what are they doing that’s helping the Eagles?
PFF Has Jordan Davis As The Highest Graded Defensive Rookie
Jordan Davis, the Eagles’ 2022 first-round pick, is the player making a big impact this season.
He’s doing so well that PFF has him as the highest rated defensive rookie player for 2022.

His 12 total tackles, and one tackle for loss, has been a help for the stout Eagles’ defense.
He’s a monster in the middle, and the Eagles are using this monster to stop the running game of their opponents.
While he’s over 330 pounds, he’s fast for his size.
At the NFL Combine, he ran a 4.78 second 40-yard dash, which makes him the third player ever to clock in under five seconds while weighing over 330 lbs.
His play this season has earned him the starting role he now has with the team.
As the Eagles head into week seven, they do so with Davis and their defense ranking fourth in yards allowed per game.
While Davis is mostly a run stopper, he’s also someone that can disrupt the quarterback.
Even though he’s yet to record a sack, his drive and game knowledge will help him accomplish this feat.
That’s why PFF has him as their highest ranked defensive rookie for 2022.
