The Philadelphia Eagles continue to add more depth at the most crucial position in the game.
Shortly after trading for former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Kenny Pickett, they’ve now added a former divisional foe.
According to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Eagles have signed former Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys QB Will Grier to a one-year deal.
They now have Jalen Hurts, Pickett, Grier, and Tanner McKee at quarterback.

The 28-year-old Grier entered the league as a third-round pick with some upside, but he didn’t find many opportunities to prove his worth.
He hasn’t played in the regular season since 2019.
Notably, he was in Arlington for a couple of seasons, so he’ll now be reunited with new Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore and quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier, which is why this move makes so much sense.
The Cowboys claimed him off waivers in 2021, and he finished the season as a member of the active roster.
He was signed back to their practice squad after being waived in 2022, and was later signed to the active roster in October.
Also, the Cleveland Browns just showed that one can never have too much depth at quarterback after making the playoffs with four different guys starting at the position.
