After getting embarrassed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round, the Philadelphia Eagles have to figure out a way to get back to playing their brand of football.
The Eagles decided to retain head coach Nick Sirianni who beefed up his coaching staff by hiring Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio as his offensive and defensive coordinator, respectively.
While the coaching staff looks better on paper, the roster could use some work on both sides.
The defense should be Philadelphia’s first priority, but the offense could also use an infusion of talent.
The offensive line has propped up the offense for years, but it could be in for a major shakeup as the rumblings of Jason Kelce’s retirement have grown louder since the team was eliminated.
Merrill Reese, the Eagles’ play-by-play announcer, urged Kelce to retire for his long-term health via SportsRadio 94WIP.
“He has taken a beaten over these last 13 years and I think for his own health and well being in the future, I think it’s time for him to retire and I say that with all of my heart because I care so much about Jason Kelce the person,” Reese said.

Kelce has played for Philadelphia since 2011 and helped them capture Super Bowl LII.
However, the veteran center has dealt with a multitude of injuries throughout his career and should seriously consider calling it a career.
Although Kelce has yet to officially declare his intentions for 2024, it feels like he is leaning toward retiring given the noise and the state of the team.
