Not so long ago, Dwyane Wade was one of the most feared, admired, and respected players in the National Basketball Association.
That’s why it’s crazy to see that some people seem to have forgotten just how cold, consistent, and impactful he was for most of his career as of late.
And now that he’s deservingly set to be inducted as a first-ballot Hall of Famer, the Miami Heat organization wanted to remind everyone — as well as himself — just how good he was, sharing a touching video with countless of his teammates wishing him well and talking about his career.
Needless to say, the legendary guard got emotional and took to Twitter to react to this touching tribute.

There was a time when Wade had a legit case for being the best shooting guard in the league, and we’re talking about someone who coexisted with Kobe Bryant.
Wade won almost everything but an MVP, and he even won an NBA championship long before teaming up with LeBron James and Chris Bosh, taking the league by storm almost right out of the gate.
He never needed to be a good three-point shooter to be efficient in today’s game, but he did knock down some iconic shots from beyond the arc.
His speed, change of pace, athleticism, and defensive expertise made him a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor.
Moreover, he’ll go down as the greatest player in Miami Heat history after playing a vital role in all three of their championships thus far.NEXT: Kendrick Perkins Comments On Dwyane Wade's Position Among Heat Greats
