The NBA has so many great players that there are always a few who are underrated.
Most players get more national attention depending on the team they play for.
That is why it should not be a surprise that the Denver Nuggets are not one of the most talked about teams.
One of the best players in the NBA plays for the Nuggets and his name is Nikola Jokic.
Many people that were unfamiliar with Jokic’s game are starting to realize how great he is.
Former NBA player Dwight Howard even thinks Jokic is one of the most versatile bigs he has ever seen.
.@DwightHoward says Nikola Jokic is “no question” one of the best, most versatile bigs that’s ever played in the #NBA 💪#RunItBack with @ShamsCharania @MichelleDBeadle @ChandlerParsons & @bansky pic.twitter.com/vht1xGOOBh

Jokic has all the tools in his bag.
He can dominate in the post as both a scorer and passer.
Also, he is a very good jump shooter.
Jokic has been dominant all season long and has continued that in the playoffs.
In the regular season, he averaged 24.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game.
He has been even better in the playoffs averaging 29.9 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 10.3 assists.
The only thing he is missing from his resume is an NBA championship.
But he has a great chance to get that this year.
Not many people have predicted the Nuggets to be a championship team.
Yet, they made quick work of the Western Conference winning each series without facing elimination.
It will be fun to see if Jokic can continue his dominance when the whole world is watching in the NBA Finals.
