August 23rd was Bryant’s birthday, a day where fans and players united, sharing their greatest memories of his life.
Dwight Howard was one of countless players to share a message about Bryant.
In his tweet that was shared via Clutch Points, Howard said, “Legends never die. Just another year for us to celebrate the legacy you left for all of us to appreciate.”

Howard and Bryant played together on the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2012-2013 season.
While Howard and Bryant’s time together was short, it’s clear that Bryant left an impression on him.
Howard and Bryant were also teammates on the Olympic team and won a gold medal for the United States in 2008.
He is recognized as one of the few players to get a chance to play with LeBron James and Bryant, who are commonly viewed as two of the best players in the last 20 years.
Bryant’s legacy will live on in the NBA forever, both on and off the court.
His wife, Vanessa, has worked tirelessly to do good in the wake of Bryant’s death.
Her organization works with several charities, and several fundraisers are conducted yearly in Bryant’s memory.
