Happy Dusty Baker Day!
This is a fun little honor Baker received in recognition of his accomplishment and it’s nice that the city of Houston felt it necessary to show their appreciation for the Astros’ skipper.
Baker certainly deserves it.
He’s been through it all as a manager.
He’s taken teams deep into the playoffs and into the World Series multiple times.
The city of Houston is just showing its love for a man who knows the game of baseball so well and somebody who has taken their Astros on an unforgettable journey.
You have to admire the city for being so grateful for Baker.
Any team would be lucky to have a guy like him managing them.
Houston has grown to expect a winning team year in and year out and Baker is a key piece in the puzzle that makes them who they are.
He should enjoy his own special holiday after pulling off an incredible accomplishment and almost certainly assuring himself a spot in Cooperstown when it’s all said and done.
