Game 3 of the 2022 MLB World Series between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies was scheduled for Monday at the City of Brotherly Love.
Rain, however, forced the league to postpone it to Tuesday: fans at Citizens Bank Park will now have to wait until tonight to show the world an authentic sea of red.
While reporters needed to figure out some logistic details after the suspension and fans had to find other plans for the night, Astros manager Dusty Baker had his own issues to attend to.
“Fallout of the World Series postponement? Dusty Baker: “I heard it’s hard getting (dinner) reservations,” MLB.com’s reporter Bryan Hoch tweeted, quoting Baker.

Talk about setting your priorities.
Baker’s Priorities Are Well-Set
Baker’s hilarious comment was met with laughter in the media room and some really funny comments on social media.
It’s important to be well-fed, and Philadelphia’s reputation is that of a place who has a lot of good food to offer.
Baker, of course, knows this and was worried that he didn’t quite have enough time on his hands to catch a reservation at a good restaurant.
We truly hope Dusty found a great place to eat some dinner last night, and recharged his batteries for a busy Tuesday at the stadium.
Scrimmages, batting practice, interviews, setting the lineup, and then perhaps the most important game of the World Series: the pivotal Game 3.
History has repeatedly smiled to the squad that takes Game 3, especially when the World Series is tied like it is at the moment.
The Astros were seen as the favorites all along, but the Phillies are showing the world that they have what it takes to compete.
