It’s not every day that a basketball player gets to go up against LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Usually, you have to be at an NBA superstar level to duke it out with King James but this past weekend, he showed his dominance to a whole new league of players.
James participated in the Drew League on Saturday in Los Angeles and that means that a bunch of guys who would never step up to him were able to try their luck at slowing him down.
He dropped 40 I had 20 for every 2 points he had I had 1 . . . That’s really a once in a lifetime player we had no nba guys they had 2 and only loss by 2 points if bron doesn’t show up we win for sure https://t.co/oodAQhiKUU

They didn’t have much luck.
Dion Wright was one of the guys who played against James and he had a fond memory of the experience:
“He dropped 40 I had 20 for every 2 points he had I had 1…That’s really a once in a lifetime player we had no NBA guys they had 2 and only loss by 2 points if bron doesn’t show up we win for sure.”
Wright is, well, right when he says that playing against James is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Even getting beat by James is a memory to cherish forever.
James Jamming
Sure enough, James really did put up 42 points and 16 rebounds during his return to the Drew League.
But beyond the point totals, he also allowed these players to experience the incredible power of his game.
James is a generational talent and even the best players in the Drew League usually only see someone like him on the TV.
Actually playing with and against James is both a huge blessing and a basketball lesson unlike any other.
It is something these guys will surely carry with them for a long time to come.
