The Golden State Warriors put the New York Knicks away on Thursday night, beating them 110-99 at Madison Square Garden and bringing their season total to 31-27.
During the game, Draymond Green contributed 7 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Following the victory, Green agreed to an interview with NBC Sports Bay Area, but he was surprised by who was asking him questions.
According to a video shared by Hoop Central, Green was shocked that Bonta Hill was one of the commentators asking him questions.
“Bonta, I’m shocked you’re talking to me. The way you were talking about me when I got suspended, I am very shocked you’re talking to me,” Green said.
Hill asked his question after Green expressed shock and Green answered but the response was curt and not too friendly.

Viewers could feel the tension through their television screens and it quickly became very clear that Green wasn’t too fond of Hill and was hoping to move past his questions as soon as possible.
It’s not obvious what exactly Hill said about Green during his suspension but the Warriors star obviously remembers.
When Green was suspended for hitting Jusuf Nurkic of the Phoenix Suns, a chorus of NBA analysts and commentators came out to harshly criticize him and question his place in the league.
Green took his time off, allegedly worked on his mental health, and returned ready to prove himself.
In the 19 games since his return, Green has averaged 8.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
He has been playing incredibly well, with strong energy and enthusiasm for his team.
It’s no surprise that the Warriors have been playing a lot better since Green’s return.
Thursday night’s awkward interview should remind all reporters and analysts that Green was paying very close attention to what was said about him.
