Second-year quarterback Drake Maye has finally shared his opinion about New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
Fans have been waiting to hear the former first-round pick’s opinion of the former Tennessee Titans head coach after news of the latter’s hiring broke earlier in New England’s offseason.
While at the Pro Bowl, Maye spoke about how his relationship has gone with his new head coach.
“He’s been awesome…You have a respect of what he’s done…Excited to get up to New England and get things going,” Maye told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Friday.

It seems like both sides are ready to get to work to try and turn the Pats back into contenders.
He has shown impressive strides over time since he was drafted last offseason.
The former ACC Player of the Year completed 66.6% of his passes, threw 15 touchdowns, and ran for 421 yards in 13 games played.
It is hard to say what he would have done if he didn’t battle injuries throughout the season, but the potential for him to be a good player is there.
Along with the team hiring Vrabel, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels was re-hired and has a long history of making magic happen on offense with whoever is playing quarterback.
In this case, Maye will be the one tasked with trying to make the offense dangerous again, and his relationships with his coaches will be key.
