When it rains, it pours for the Miami Dolphins.
Shortly after losing star CB Jalen Ramsey for the first portion of the season due to an injury suffered in practice, it now seems like they could be without another of their best players to start the campaign.
According to Twitter users @SVG_25 and @Jai_305_ (via Yahoo Sports NFL), star wideout Jaylen Waddle exited the Dolphins’ joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Alabama standout reportedly suffered an injury to his right midsection, per Myles Simmons of NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk.
The report states that the wideout stayed down after making a catch during team drills.
He was able to put weight on his feet and walk off the field under his own power, but he was holding the right side of his body as he was joined by trainers and staff members on his way to the locker room.
Head coach Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins organization have yet to share any update regarding his status, so this will be a story worth following closely in the following hours and days.
Waddle is coming off a remarkable campaign, posting a league-high 18.1 yards per catch and hauling in 75 receptions for 1,356 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Miami Dolphins have put together the most explosive and fastest offense in the league, with Waddle and Tyreek Hill getting defensive backs dizzy with their change of pace and acceleration.
Needless to say, not having him on the field could take a massive toll on their offense.
