The Miami Dolphins already had one of the most explosive offenses in the game, and adding De’Von Achane to it only made it scarier.
That’s why the fans — and his fantasy football owners — must be thrilled to know that the team has opened the 21-day practice window for the rookie RB to be activated back from the Injured Reserve (IR) list, according to HC Mike McDaniel via Ian Rapoport.
#Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel announced that RB De'Von Achane, on IR with a knee injury, is having his practice window opened today.

The third-round pick missed the past four games with a knee injury sustained during their win over the New York Giants in Week 5.
Achane looked like a lock to run away — no pun intended — with Offensive Rookie of the Year honors after breaking out from Week 3 through Week 5.
He was averaging a record-breaking 12.3 yards per carry after rushing for 455 yards and five touchdowns, all while adding 63 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in that span alone.
The Dolphins are fresh off a heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Frankfurt and have the Las Vegas Raiders on deck, and they could have the Texas A&M product back on the field if he feels better by then.
Veteran RB Raheem Mostert has been the featured guy in his absence, having the best season of his career with a league-leading 11 rushing touchdowns.
Needless to say, Achane’s return will only make the Dolphins’ already-explosive offense even more appealing to watch and more difficult to contain, giving them a versatile one-two punch to complement star WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the passing game.
