Most of the talking about the Miami Dolphins has often centered around QB Tua Tagovailoa, especially since Mike McDaniel took over as HC.
The Dolphins once boasted a defensive-oriented approach under Brian Flores, but the tables have drastically turned now.
However, defensive star Emmanuel Ogbah has plenty of confidence in the team’s new-look defense and new Defensive Coordinator, and he believes the sky is the limit for them on that side of the field now.
“I’ll say we can be as good as we want to be. I’m excited about this defense,” Ogbah said. “We’ve got Vic (Fangio) coaching us up. I can’t wait. It’s been a long time coming. This year, I feel like this is the year. We can be as good as we want to be. I’m ready to go out there and dominate.”

The Dolphins are coming off a promising season in 2022, being able to handle the pressure even when Tua fell with multiple injuries and making the playoffs for the first time in six years, thanks to a 9-8 record.
That’s only most impressive if you consider the fact that the AFC East was mostly competitive for the best part of the season, with all four teams having a chance to make the playoffs.
Things are now even more complicated with Aaron Rodgers taking his talents to the New York Jets, but the Dolphins’ star pass rusher still likes their chances against anybody.
The Dolphins fared much better than expected in MacDaniel’s first year in charge of the team.
They proved that they could go toe-to-toe with the best offenses in the game, so they shouldn’t feel intimidated now that they’ve also added more firepower to the other side of the field.
It’ll be easier said than done in perhaps the most competitive division in all of football, but rival teams should know better than to sleep on this up-and-coming squad.
