The Miami Dolphins are currently working through a contract situation with Pro Bowl quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
As the former national champion enters the final year of his rookie deal, he is looking to cash in.
Five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Terron Armstead of the Dolphins recently joined the Ross Tucker Podcast to chat about this quarterback’s contract and what he thinks is going to happen.
“That’s my little brother…He is going to be one of the highest-paid ever…He is an elite quarterback,” Armstead stated.

It seems like everyone in the Miami locker room feels the same way that Tagovailoa does.
He deserves to be paid like one of the elite quarterbacks in football.
Tagovailoa has led the Dolphins to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons, which is the first time that has happened to the organization since 2000-2001.
The former Alabama star led the league in passer rating (2022) and passing yards (2023).
He is coming off of his best season as a pro.
He set career-highs in completions (388), completion percentage (69.3%), passing yards (4,624), and touchdown passes (29).
Still just 26, he is an ascending player that might have an even better offense around him in 2024 with the addition of former Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Tagovailoa has proven thus far that he deserves a second contract with the team, and a big second contract at that.
He is arguably the best quarterback that this franchise has seen since Dan Marino.
Miami will most likely need to pay up, especially after Trevor Lawrence signed a massive five-year deal worth $275 million with Jacksonville.
