The Los Angeles Dodgers made a huge splash in free agency late last week, signing superstar first baseman Freddie Freeman to a six-year, $162 million deal.
As a result, the Dodgers are now the heavy favorites to win the World Series in 2022, and Dodger fans can’t contain their excitement as they wait to see their new star in action.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is excited too, and he’s got a plan for when he’ll get his regulars into the lineup during spring training games.
Roberts announced that Freeman will get his first bit of action in a Dodgers uniform on Tuesday.

The Buzz Factor
One can only imagine the buzz that Dodgers fans are feeling.
They now boast a lineup with perhaps the best first baseman in all of baseball, with guys like Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy, Trea Turner, and Will Smith surrounding him.
This team is absolutely stacked, and Dodger fans should be excited to see what 2022 has in store for them.
The season is drawing nearer, and the team looks ready to do a lot of damage.
The Dodgers won it all in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays in six games, but now, with COVID on the decline, there is more excitement in the air.
Fans weren’t permitted in the stands in 2020, but that won’t be the case this year.
Dodgers fans have the opportunity to see a historically stacked squad in action.
And Freeman is set to make his Dodgers debut on Tuesday.
You can bet fans and players alike will be teeming with excitement to see their new star play and sport the Dodger uniform for the first time.
