With the addition of Freddie Freeman, the Los Angeles Dodgers are ready to go in 2022 and take a shot at their second World Series title in three years.
Their lineup is arguably the best one in all of baseball and helps make the Dodgers the overwhelming favorite to win it all this year.
Last year, Los Angeles became the fourth team in baseball history to have a roster that included four or more players who were previously MVPs, those being Clayton Kershaw, Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, and Albert Pujols, joining the 1978 Cincinnati Reds, 1982 California Angels, and the 1996 Boston Red Sox on the list of teams to have included that many former MVPs.
They’re set to have four former MVPs on their rosters on their roster again, with Freeman replacing Pujols.
Last year, the Dodgers became the 4th team to have 4+ former MVPs appear for them in a season, with Betts, Bellinger, Kershaw, Pujols
Now, with Freddie Freeman, LAD is set to have 4+ former MVPs AGAIN, joining

A Stacked Roster
To have the lineup and roster that they already have is impressive, but having four former MVPs on that roster for two consecutive years just goes to show how loaded the Dodgers really are entering 2022.
They have the best team in baseball on paper and looked poised to make some more noise this year.
The Dodgers have been to the World Series three out of the past five seasons, winning it all in 2020, and there’s reason to think they have a great chance to make it four out of six and capture yet another title.
Teams are going to be hard pressed to stop the Dodgers this year, and if another team wants to win it all, they’re going to have to go through LA first.
This is going to be a fun team to watch in 2022 as they look to win their second title in three years.
