The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to make redeem themselves after a terrible postseason last year.
After winning 111 regular-season games, the Dodgers lost in the NLDS.
But, the Dodgers are back again this year hoping to have much better results in October.
LA is once again leading the NL West and should be one of the top two seeds in the National League.
That means they will get a first-round bye before returning to the NLDS.
One player that needs to play for the Dodgers to have any chance is Mookie Betts.
He is one of the top two candidates for NL MVP, and he is arguably having the best season of his career.
Unfortunately, Betts suffered an injury after fouling a ball off his left foot on Thursday.
He was seen leaving the stadium on crutches.
According to Juan Toribio, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Betts is going to get a CT scan and that he will probably be out this weekend.
Dave Roberts just went on radio and said he’s going to get a CT scan. He’ll probably not play this weekend. Will keep you updated with more once we talk to him later. https://t.co/2V0Ek4IdRP

Betts only missing this upcoming series would be the best-case scenario for the Dodgers.
Avoiding any time on the injured list would be great for the Dodgers.
Not having Betts for an extended period could derail their season.
He is their leadoff hitter and arguably their best defensive player.
Also, Betts has shown he can spend time in the outfield and infield this year.
Betts is not the type of player that can be replaced.
So getting him back in the lineup as quickly as possible is a necessity for the Dodgers.NEXT: Walker Buehler Comments On Today's Decision
