Is Doc Rivers‘ time coaching the Philadelphia 76ers coming to an end?
It remains to be seen if Rivers will be working for Philly at the start of next season but things are definitely not going very well for the partnership right now.

Rivers has now officially lost 7 of his last 8 opportunities to close out a series.
His 76ers are currently in the midst of struggling to put away the Toronto Raptors.
ESPN notes that his 31 such losses in these types of games are already the most by any coach in NBA history.
Is he going to break his cursed record in Game 6 of the first round or will the trend continue?
Ravaged Rivers
Rivers is an accomplished, championship-winning coach but he is having some issues in the postseason recently.
His time leading the Clippers was plagued with playoff problems and that seems to be true with the 76ers too.
Philadelphia was up 3-0 against Toronto only a few days ago but now the series is nearly tied.
For whatever reason, the Raptors have figured out how to shut the 76ers down and limit their output.
Things are looking bleak as the series moves up north to Toronto.
Fans of the Raptors are famous for being loud and enthusiastic so the 76ers will be walking into the lion’s den for Game 6.
That means that they might be thrown off their game and taken down yet again.
If that happens, this will be a series that goes to seven games.
And if the 76ers screw up this chance, they will never hear the end of it.
As for Rivers, he should just pack his bags if that happens.
