However, it’s not completely impossible for them to reach the playoffs.
But for them to reach the playoffs, they need everything to go perfectly.
Winning out can help, but they also need some help from other teams.
With the New York Jets, Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, and New England Patriots ahead of them, it’s a longshot for them to get into the playoffs.
However, with the Raiders and Chargers facing each other soon, and the Steelers facing the Browns, there’s some hope for the Steelers.
But they need both the Jets and Patriots to lose multiple games to reach the playoffs.
With both teams not facing each other, they have to hope their opponents can help them out.
If both the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills can beat the Jets and Patriots, it opens the door for the Steelers.
However, can the Steelers win out?
They have games against the Carolina Panthers and the Raiders, two easy teams to defeat.
But they have two games against the Baltimore Ravens, who lead the AFC North.
While one game will be without Lamar Jackson, the other might see him playing against the Steelers.
With everything that needs to happen, it’s nearly impossible for the Steelers to reach the playoffs.
