The Pittsburgh Steelers have needed to make several tough decisions throughout the offseason.
The team carefully considered its future and made moves they believed would help them in the long run.
One such move was to part ways with Diontae Johnson, one of the team’s top receivers from the past several seasons.
Johnson ended up being traded to the Carolina Panthers, where he will have a chance to play with Bryce Young, hoping to help him grow in his sophomore season.
While it seemed like Johnson’s departure was under tense circumstances, a recent tweet indicates that he doesn’t harbor any bad blood towards his former team.
“I love Pittsburgh regardless of what happened,” Johnson said, indicating that fans might have a mistaken impression of why he left the organization.
I love Pittsburgh regardless of what happened yaw fans delusional and swea everything I tweet be about them yaw need get a life!

Regardless of how he left, Johnson is now gone, and the Steelers will have to go back to the drawing board at the position.
George Pickens has proven to be a solid player under the old regime, but the 2024 Steelers will look a lot different.
Instead of Pickett, Mitchell Trubisky, and Mason Rudolph at the helm, there will be a combination of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields.
While it remains to be seen how these new quarterbacks will perform under Mike Tomlin’s system, one thing is clear.
Pickens alone cannot carry the load for this team, and if they wanna compete in a crowded AFC North, they’ll have to consider every option heading into the 2024 campaign.
