The Dallas Cowboys are in a must-win situation right now.
They didn’t make the most of the bye week to fix some of their issues and get past the most mortal version of the San Francisco 49ers we’ve seen in years.
Now, things won’t get much easier when they hit the road for a matchup with the 5-3 Atlanta Falcons.
Even so, a former Cowboys star has a lot of faith in what his former team could do on Sunday.
Former star WR Dez Bryant took to X to claim that he has the Cowboys beating the Falcons in this game.
I got the Cowboys beating the falcons this week ?
— Dez Bryant (@DezBryant) November 1, 2024
Of course, one might think he’s a little biased because of his past in Arlington, but it’s not like his tenure with the team ended on the best terms.
Also, Bryant has become famous on social media for constantly hitting bets, so he might have some financial motives to root for the Cowboys in this matchup as well.
The Falcons are three-point favorites at the time of writing, with the game total set at 51.5 points.
Raheem Morris’ team has been solid on both sides of the field this season, and they seem to have an edge in most categories ahead of this matchup.
Still, with Mike McCarthy’s team sitting on a 3-4 record and being subject to major criticism all season long, they will want to approach this as a playoff game.
Will Bryant hit big again, or will he miss this one? We’ll have to wait and see.
