Dez Bryant, for many seasons, was one of the most dynamic athletes in the NFL.
Many regarded him as one of the best receivers in the league, and he provided a lot of excitement to the Dallas Cowboys franchise.
Despite being retired for the past three years, Bryant has maintained a relationship with many Cowboys players and is now an active participant in the fantasy football space.
Many players have lauded Bryant for his fantastic leadership, including Dak Prescott, who mentioned him in an interview with Graham Bensinger.
Bryant responded to Prescott’s comments, saying “I’m glad Dak said I was easy to communicate with because I was.”
I’m glad Dak said I was easy to communicate with because I was… whenever you wanna know the real about a situation that’s what real leaders do figure it out and be honest no matter if it’s a positive or negative situation.. he didn’t lie in this interview and that’s why I’ll… https://t.co/pTQzX1TPPU

In this interview, Dak discussed a time during his rookie year when he stood up to Bryant at a practice.
At the time, Bryant had already been in the league for six seasons, and he had plenty of league experience.
However, as he indicates in this tweet, Bryant expressed his respect for Prescott, both now, and at the time he stood up to him.
He referred to Prescott as a “real leader,” due to his ability to tell the truth in both positive and negative situations.
Bryant’s positive comments about Prescott come at a time that many analysts and fans have questioned Prescott’s on-field production.
The Cowboys haven’t made a deep playoff run in recent seasons, which has caused these debates about Prescott.
To Bryant, at the very least, Prescott is a great leader for the Cowboys.
Will that materialize into greater on-field success during the 2023 season?
