The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2022 regular season with the NFL’s best record, 14-3.
This feat was accomplished with the help of elite play on both sides of the ball.
They were the NFL’s highest-scoring team this season, and the defense allowed the eighth-fewest points per game as well.
One of the reasons they were so successful on offense was due to a rise in production by one of their young receivers, DeVonta Smith.
DeVonta Smith's 2022 season:
• 95 catches
• 1,196 yards
• 7 TDs9th in yards and 11th in receptions in the entire NFL.

Even though Smith won the Heisman Trophy during his time in college at the University of Alabama, there was much speculation that he would not amount to anything in the NFL, considering his size.
Smith is listed at 6-feet and 170 pounds, both of which are significantly less than the league average.
Despite his height and weight, he has been able to find success in his first two seasons in the league.
One of the biggest contributors to the meteoric rise of quarterback Jalen Hurts, Smith has put together a monster 2022 campaign.
Smith finished the season with the ninth-most yards of any receiver this season and had the eleventh-most receptions.
He trailed his teammate A.J. Brown by 300 yards, who also had a spectacular year in his first season with the team.
The Eagles offense has been a juggernaut this season and looks to continue their dominance throughout the playoffs.
They will not be playing this weekend due to their first-round bye, and have been touted as one of the favorites to hold up the Lombardi trophy at the end of the season.
