The Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up for a big matchup with the Los Angeles Rams this weekend.

This team might have faltered in the postseason last year, but their offense seems to be firing on all cylinders.
One of the players that will have to step up in this game is DeVonta Smith, one-half of the dynamic wide receiver duo the Eagles have between him and A.J. Brown.
Smith has quieted his doubters since he came into the league, and has been a force to be reckoned with when given the opportunity.
He’s already shown a lot of grit and poise in the postseason and has an opportunity to make team history this weekend.
As Dov Kleiman highlighted on X, Smith needs just six receiving yards this week to become the Eagles’ all-time receiving leader in the playoffs.

Kleiman noted the fact that Smith is only 26 years-old, and has plenty of time to build upon this record throughout his career.
The Eagles have had several dominant receivers throughout their existence, so Smith is already among elite company.
Smith might not be the biggest or strongest player on the field, but he makes up for those deficiencies with strong hands, excellent route-running, and great chemistry with Jalen Hurts.
Breaking the record would be a great feat for Smith to accomplish this weekend, but it’ll mean less if they fall to the Rams.
