After seeing the Kansas City Chiefs trade for one All-Pro wide receiver Wednesday morning, it is time to check back in on another situation regarding another All-Pro wide receiver.
Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Cooper Kupp might be for sale before the trade deadline, and the Rams’ asking price has recently been revealed.
According to insiders Dianna Russini, Mike Silver and Jourdan Rodrigue, the Rams are willing to pay part of Kupp’s salary and want a second-round pick too.
“The Rams have indicated a willingness to take on some of the ’24 salary and are seeking a 2nd round pick,” Russini posted on social media Tuesday.

It is clear that the Rams see an opportunity to gain some draft capital for the future here.
Kupp, 31, has had a fine career with the Rams.
The 2021 Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl MVP has recorded over 7,000 yards and over 50 receiving touchdowns in parts of eight seasons playing for head coach Sean McVay.
He has been fighting back from an ankle injury to return to the team.
The Rams are currently sitting at a record of 2-4 with their two wins coming against the struggling Las Vegas Raiders and the uncharacteristic San Francisco 49ers.
Teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Commanders, and San Francisco 49ers could be in need of a veteran pass-catcher.
Of course, Los Angeles is unlikely to trade one of their best players in the division.
Time will tell to see where Kupp ends up if he is indeed dealt by the deadline.
