The Brooklyn Nets will definitely be sellers at the upcoming NBA trade deadline, and even their most valued players could be moving to new teams.
Cam Johnson has been a point of interest for multiple NBA front offices lately, and now we know what the Nets will ask for when teams inquire about him.
According to Marc Stein, per NBACentral, the Nets are seeking “multiple first-round picks” in a package for Johnson.
Stein wrote:
“The Nets are now said to be seeking multiple first-round picks from teams interested in trading for sharpshooter Cam Johnson. Can they really expect to get more than one first-rounder for Johnson after the deals just witnessed for Schröder and Finney-Smith?”

The Nets have been busy, trading away Dennis Schroder, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Shake Milton.
And that might just be the beginning of what they’ll agree to before the deadline.
The Nets are the 12th team in the East and are interested in beginning a robust rebuilding process.
That means they want talented players, but they are also very interested in draft picks.
They have been accumulating quite a few of them and can use them to draft players over the next few years or package them up and trade them to other teams.
But are the Nets going to get too greedy and ask for too much?
They have had some good luck with their recent trades, but will that luck run out as the deadline approaches?
Johnson is a great player who has averaged 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game this season.
Is that worth multiple first-round picks?
The Nets will find out the answer to that soon.
