Some recent news has surfaced regarding the contract demands of Broncos star wide receiver Courtland Sutton.
The Pro Bowl wide receiver, according to Jon Heath of Broncos Wire, would like his salary to fall in between $15-$16 million in 2024.
As Heath also notes, Sutton is set to have a base salary of $13 million in 2024.
This is not a crazy demand from somebody that has been a big piece of the offense in Denver for a while now.

Sutton last made a Pro Bowl in 2021, but his best season as a pro came back in 2019 when he reeled in 72 passes for 1,112 yards and 9 touchdowns.
He is a big-play threat whenever he steps foot on the field.
Now, he has struggled to put up WR1 numbers with the turnover that has happened within the organization.
He has been through multiple head coaches and multiple quarterbacks.
It is hard to expect big-time production out of a player when there is absolutely no consistency around him.
Heading into 2024, that appears to be the same.
Sean Payton is still the head coach, but the quarterback situation is a little murky.
No one knows who the starting quarterback is yet.
The duel between rookie Bo Nix and veterans Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham has only just begun.
But with Sutton being one of the most experienced players on the roster and with his reliability, Denver should be inclined to give him a somewhat small raise.
After all, he isn’t asking for the next major deal at the position.
