Next month, the Chicago Bears will be on the clock as of April 25, with the team having the No. 1 overall pick for the second straight season, which they traded to the Carolina Panthers last year rather than using it to draft a potential franchise quarterback.
Ultimately, that might have been a bad move for the Bears, as they had an opportunity to bring in C.J. Stroud, who quickly became the new face of the Houston Texans franchise and led them all the way to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.
This time around, it seems like the Bears are intent on keeping the pick and using it on USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams, which could potentially be a game-changer for Chicago.
However, former NFL star wide receiver DeSean Jackson doesn’t think that William should want to go to Chicago for a number of different reasons, but namely, it’s not a great place for a quarterback of his caliber, and he could end up being the next Justin Fields via Up & Adams.
“I’m coming from Hollywood. I don’t want to go to Chicago,” Jackson said. “I don’t want to be in his cold weather. I don’t want to go to a team that is rebuilding and is trying to figure it out. I don’t want to be another Justin Fields.”

Jackson has a point, and the Bears could screw things up with Williams and derail his development while being unable to put the right talent around him in order to give the rookie quarterback a chance to succeed.
However, outside of demanding the Bears not draft him, he’ll be forced to go to Chicago and deal with the opportunity given, which he’ll have to make the best of, like every other rookie coming into the league.
