The Baltimore Ravens made a huge splash in free agency.
They snatched one of the best running backs in recent NFL history, revamping their already impressive running game with Derrick Henry.
Now, the Alabama product raved about how excited he is to play with Lamar Jackson.
During his introductory press conference, Henry admitted to being a huge fan of Jackson since he entered the league, praising his body of work and what he’s been able to accomplish in so little time.
He also raved about the organization and stated that he was looking forward to getting into the RB room to work with his new teammates.
“I’ve had respect for him since he’s come in this league,” Henry said about Jackson.

The Ravens have always had one of the best running games in the league.
First under Greg Roman and now with Todd Monken, they’ve mostly used a running back-by-committee approach, although a lot of that has had to do with a flurry of injuries at the position.
Now, they hope to have Henry as their sole workhorse and take some pressure off Lamar Jackson’s shoulders, not to mention keeping him fresh and safe for when it matters the most.
Henry is 30 years old already and comes with plenty of mileage on his feet, but we’re still talking about one of the most dominant running backs in recent history.
The Ravens managed to keep most of their core together and should be one of the powerhouses in the AFC again next season, and they just got a whole lot scarier with Henry in the backfield.
