Outside of last season, which resulted in the Jacksonville Jaguars winning the division title, the Tennessee Titans have been the team to beat in the AFC South in the recent past, with a formidable squad on both sides of the football.
The team has one of the most talented young head coaches in the game, Mike Vrabel, and arguably the best running back in the league, with Derrick Henry coming out of the backfield.
Unfortunately, the Titans haven’t been able to put it all together to make a run at a Super Bowl title, and things have only gotten progressively more difficult due to the rising talent in the AFC and the emergence of Trevor Lawrence and company.
Although the Titans didn’t make a lot of noise during this NFL offseason in terms of improving the roster other than creating a quarterback controversy with the addition of rookie Will Levis, Tennessee did make a huge splash recently by coming out on top in the DeAndre Hopkins sweepstakes.
Tennessee was able to convince Hopkins to sign, which makes for an interesting duo by joining forces with Henry.
In an interview with NFL Network, Henry talked about now being teammates with Hopkins.

Along with looking forward to getting to work with Hopkins over the course of the 2023 NFL season, Henry talked about the situation the Titans are dealing with as expectations have been lowered with everyone talking about the Jaguars.
Henry gave a perfect veteran response as he wants to ignore the noise and get to work while getting better every step of the way.
Although the Jaguars are expected to be the team to come out on top in the AFC South, the Titans have enough veteran talent to surprise some people and potentially make another run with Henry as the face of the franchise.
