The King has a new home.
Yesterday, the Tennessee Titans gave former Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard a 3-year, $24 million deal, which signaled the end of the Derrick Henry era in Tennessee.
The end of the era became official today, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Henry is headed to the Baltimore Ravens on a 2-year, $16 million deal.

Henry secures a 2-year deal despite being 30 years old, which is rare for a running back.
He leaves behind an incredible legacy as a Titan, where he put up 9,502 yards and 90 rushing touchdowns across eight seasons.
Henry wasted no time before heading to Twitter and announcing the move himself.
“Flock Nation I swea it’s up!” he tweeted.

Henry’s fit in Baltimore is an obvious one, as the Ravens were a rumored destination for months.
Fellow power back Gus Edwards fled the nest for the Los Angeles Chargers yesterday, clearing the way for Henry to Baltimore.
Henry may have lost a bit of a step in the past year or two, but he is still coming off a strong season where he put up 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns behind a miserable Tennessee offensive line.
Another thing Henry does for Baltimore is stabilize a position where the Ravens have suffered a shocking amount of injuries in recent years.
J.K. Dobbins has played nine games over the past three years, while Keaton Mitchell tore his ACL last season, and Edwards tore his ACL in 2022.
Baltimore has been desperate enough to employ Melvin Gordon and Dalvin Cook after all these injuries, but now have Henry, who has played in at least 15 games every year aside from 2021 when he broke his foot.
