It’s going to be a special night at Yankee Stadium as Derek Jeter will be making his return for a special Hall of Fame tribute ceremony.
The legendary New York Yankees shortstop is back in town, and you can bet that Yankees fans are going to be excited to see their Hall of Famer at the ballpark.
This morning, Jeter tweeted a funny video of him and his wife telling their three daughters that they were going to get a chance to go to Yankee Stadium.
They also asked them what they wanted to do while they were there, to which they said they wanted ice cream and hot dogs.

Jeter Hypes Up His Kids
These kids are in for a real treat tonight.
They’ll get to see their dad have his own little ceremony in front of a large crowd of Yankees fans.
They’ll have a chance to be on the field for it as well.
Jeter did ask his daughters if they were excited to go on the field and meet the players.
One of them wasn’t too excited about that, telling Jeter that she didn’t want to break her leg like he did, referencing what took place in Game 1 of the 2012 ALCS against the Detroit Tigers.
“I don’t think you have to worry about that,” Jeter said with a smile.
But most importantly, they wanted “all the hot dogs” and “all the ice cream.”
Let’s hope the night is as special as they’re expecting it to be.
This is a nice, heartwarming video of Jeter hyping up his kids for what is going to be an amazing experience.
We’ll see if his daughters end up getting all the hot dogs and all the ice cream.
