Tuesday’s game between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers was a big one.
It featured LeBron James once again making history, Jalen Brunson repeatedly asserting himself, and Rui Hachimura becoming even more comfortable with his new team.
It also featured an amazing buzzer-beater shot as halftime rolled around.

In the final seconds of the second quarter, Dennis Schroder received the ball from LeBron James as the clock hit one second.
From just a step away from the half-court, Schroder shot the ball with power and what seemed like very little aim.
But the ball somehow found the bucket and went in, giving Schroder one of the craziest three-point shots of the season.
It was the biggest moment of the night for Schroder, who scored 12 points and 6 assists for the evening.
So far this season, he is putting up an average of 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
He has been starting in nearly every game for the Lakers and has mostly delivered on the promises he made to the team in the summer.
2022-23 is his big return to the team after a season away playing for the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets.
Schroder made his way back onto the Lakers’ radar during the summer when he did phenomenal work for his home country of Germany in the EuroBasket tournament.
The Lakers wanted to sign him again because they loved his ball handling and his shooting and passing abilities.
He has remained pretty consistent so far, reading the floor well, making good calls, and finding his teammates with ease.
Now people are wondering just how long he will be sticking around in LA.
Will he last more than a season this time?
