Dejounte Murray of the San Antonio Spurs has had an impressive career so far – especially this last season when he averaged 21.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 9.2 assists.
It’s no wonder that other teams are hoping to steal him away from Gregg Popovich’s iconic team.
After rumors all season long, it sounds like Murray might actually be moving to a new home soon.

On Wednesday night, it was reported that the Atlanta Hawks have discussed a trade of Murray for John Collins.
Surprisingly, Murray gave some extra life to the rumor when he posted a simple “Uh Ohhhhhhhhh” on Twitter.
Does this mean the deal is really moving forward and the Hawks and Spurs are about to make a major trade?
A Big Swap
Both Murray and Collins are big parts of their respective teams.
Murray has been seen as a team leader for the Spurs, especially during this last season, while Collins was a pivotal part of the Hawks’ impressive postseason run back in 2021.
But both of their teams have been struggling lately and a change-up like this could be smart.
The Spurs have been stuck in a rut for a few seasons now but the Hawks’ rocky year was a bit of surprise, especially since they were experiencing a Cinderella story during the 2021 playoffs.
Most people expected Atlanta to do everything but trade Trae Young in order to get back in good shape.
Adding Murray to their lineup could work wonders for the Hawks, taking pressure off Young and adding more depth on both ends of the court.
Collins in San Antonio, on the other hand, would also improve the team, specifically with defense.
All in all, this is a package that could bolster both squads.
